On a former platform of the Mülheim train station, the RS1 runs high above the city to the Ruhr. You can take the elevator down to the Ruhr Promenade or cross the Ruhr over the bridge and continue in the direction of Duisburg. A beautiful design. The previous expansion of the RS1 will then end at the University of Applied Sciences.

Part of the RS1 which runs through part of Mülheim's city centre. There is no separation between cyclists and pedestrians on this section. The meaning is not necessarily clear, but could be explained with the structural conditions. ;) Otherwise not particularly spectacular.
