The Spinc ridge overlooking the spectacular Glendalough Valley makes for one of the finest if not 'the' finest hikes in the Wicklow Mountains National Park. A tough climb rewards you with breathtaking views of the Glendalough Valley, the lake and the surrounding Wicklow mountains. Along with the sights at the monastic centre this makes for a world class hike. To top it off you get to meet a lot of Irish people who are simply world class in their own right!

The Upper Lake trail in Glendalough is a picturesque hiking trail that takes you around the stunning Upper Lake in the Glendalough Valley. This trail offers a relatively easy and enjoyable walk, suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you follow the trail, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the serene lake surrounded by lush greenery and the majestic Wicklow Mountains.
