Dated by historical works, the church was rebuilt in 1725. Nothing is known about the previous building. The place called Coz Iliz, the Old Church, to the south-east of the town, suggests that there was a building which served as a place of worship, which would explain the presence of the devotional fountain of Saint Edultride. The bell tower houses a bell dated 1776.

The church, which has been dated by historical works, was rebuilt in 1725. The architect contacted by the parish factory for this reconstruction is Sébastien Roussel. Nothing is known about the previous building. The location of Coz Iliz, the Old Church to the southeast of the village, suggests that there was a building that served as a place of worship, which would explain the presence of the Saint Edultride's Fountain of Piety.

The bell tower houses a bell from 1776.
