Here you can see the smallest of the 4 post mile columns, the quarter milestone. There are four different types of Saxon post miles columns. The most still existing, coat of arms-decorated distance columns with the location and distance information as well as the three different miles columns on the post roads (differ in size/height). These are the whole mile columns, the half mile columns and the quarter mile stones (smallest).
