Lake Fedaia (Lèch de Fedaa in Ladin) is an artificial lake located near the Fedaia pass, at the base of the Marmolada. In 2002 the lake and its dam (built in 1956) were the location of some scenes of the film directed by Felix Gary Gray "The Italian Job".

Passo Fedaia is one of the highest, most famous and most feared Dolomite passes. It has been climbed several times by the Giro d'Italia and connects Canazei (Trentino) to Rocca Pietro (Belluno). The Belluno side is the hardest and most noble: from Caprile there are 14 kilometers at an average gradient of 7.5%, but with a finish (from Malga Ciapela to the brow) of 5 kilometers at 11.3%.
