The Chateau Montsegure is a ruin from the Cathar era. 2000 people sought protection here from the crusade of the Pope and the French king 800 years ago. Over 200 of them were burned at the stake after their defeat for their faith.
In addition to the historical importance, the castle also has a breathtaking view to offer.
