    The Funtenseetauern is a 2578 m above sea level. NHN high border peak between Germany and Austria on the northern edge of the Steinernes Meer, one of the nine mountain ranges of the Berchtesgaden Alps.

    Access is only possible via the Kärlingerhaus. The path from the Wasseralm is no longer maintained and has already been removed from the current maps.
