The path leads over boulders and through waterfalls to the palm beach at the bottom of the Preveli Gorge. On the way, you often have to wade through chest-deep water and climb over rocks.
As a reward, you get a unique view of the gorge and deserted natural bathing spots.
Cooling off under a waterfall in the middle and the natural rock slide at the end are a highlight.

Freshwater. The river is relatively cold compared to the sea. There are lots of palm trees to the left and right. You might think you are in the tropics.
