The green belt of Reims connects the Aisne à la Marne canal to the Vesle river from Saint-Brice-Courcelles to Sillery.
Some sites along this green belt are protected from any human intrusion, thus allowing for increasing diversification and development of flora and fauna.
This 24-kilometer cycle path of landscaped banks allows you to get out and return to the heart of the city easily, avoiding any road traffic.

La Coulée Verte in Reims is a leisure trail created on former towpaths along the Aisne à la Marne Canal. In the northern section, the bike path offers a varied insight into the former importance of the industrial waterway (at the former port) and agriculture (such as the massive construction of the old granaries).
