The architectural characteristics follow the same parameters as the rest of the Baroque churches in the town. Inside, the altarpiece stands out on the main altar, the work of the carver from Daimiel, Pedro López Villaseñor, from the mid-18th century.
In 1907 the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus, also called Passionist Fathers, was founded. It is on this date that the annexed convent was erected where the Passionist Fathers currently reside.
