The maiden tower is just as old (approx. 1530) as the Werderturm (thick tower). It is the fourth observation point next to the 3 gate towers that are used in the city wall to control the east side. In terms of shape, it is very similar to the Werderturm. It stands on private property, is fenced in and not directly accessible.
