    The Neusser Stadtwald is a forest area in the middle of the urban area of Neuss. Most of it is located in the stadium district and covers an area of 23.6 hectares.
    The Neuss city forest is about 2.1 km long and has an area of 23.6 hectares. It has been designated as a landscape protection area since 1971 and extends over the districts of Stadionviertel, Morgensternsheide and Neusser Furth. The north channel runs through the entire city forest. There are several lakes and ponds in the forest, including the Jröne Meerke recreation facility.
