The Rote Maar is a little-known nature reserve in the Ville, near Bornheim-Rösberg, that is important for amphibians. Beech trees, wet grasses and rushes grow in the shallow water of the ponds. Especially when the blue sky is reflected in the water, there are wonderful views every few meters.
