The windmill built in 1872 shaped the village of Nossentin for over 70 years. The bright bricks, which were probably made in the Nossentin brickworks, are quite typical. The mill had been operated by the Gundlach family since 1877 and came into the possession of the Uecker family at the end of the 19th century. Around this time, a steam bakery was added to the mill, which was in operation until 1950 (source: information sign).

Built in 1872 from local bricks wind and steam mill between the districts Silz and Nossentin, where the crops grown in the area was ground and later baked in the "steam bakery." Quite typical are the bright stones that were probably fired in the brickyard Nossentin In 1990, the mill changed hands and is now being continuously renovated according to the guidelines of heritage protection.
