The railway line originally connected the Fischerhof station with the "Küchengarten station". The latter was used to transport goods to and from the industry. The "three warm brothers", an enercity thermal power station, and the Ihmezentrum are now located at the old industrial sites. After the station was closed, the railway line only served as a "coal railway" to supply the power station. It ended at the structure that still exists today, where the coal was unloaded and transported to the power plant by means of conveyor belts through a tunnel.
