Archignano appeared, in those years, unlike the other districts of Savese, such as today's Torre Ovo, filled with Savesi just after "San Ggiuanni": traìni loaded with nets, mattresses and a few pots were the most important things that were moved from the village in the countryside, thus began the most famous Savese holiday resort of the time.

This district was packed beyond belief, in the evening the girls went out along the main road as if to point out that this was the most important street for evening strolls, having focused, not far away, the watchful eyes of their parents!
