The fish fountain on the market square in front of St. Michael's Church is the last surviving box fountain in Schwäbisch Hall. The name comes from the fact that fish was once sold on the square. The actual rectangular fountain box itself is in front of a lining wall for a terrace, in which three stone reliefs are worked.
