This ferry has been a household name and a popular sight on the Rotte for years.
The ferry is a “solar ferry”, which means that the ferry has electric motors and the batteries for these engines are charged via the solar panels on the roof of the ferry.
The skippers sail the ferry from the jetty on the Bleiswijk side at the restaurant “Meerenbos” to the Zevenhuizer opposite or, if the crowds allow it, to the jetty at eatery "de Roerdomp".
