WARNING: This highlight makes absolutely no sense, both the local classification and the classification as not being accessible by bike. Puerto del Carmen is a tourist stronghold with a sea front of 12 kilometers and a maximum extension in the northern area of more than 18 kilometers, throwing all of this together in one POINT is not helpful for anyone, just as unchecked copying from travel guides is not helpful

Puerto del Carmen is a resort town on the southeast coast of the Spanish island of Lanzarote. There are beaches like sandy Playa Grande and Matagorda, known for its constant breeze. Fishing boats are moored in the old port of El Varadero. The Avenida de las Playas seafront promenade is lined with shops, restaurants and lively nightclubs. Inland, Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park has a zoo.

What I particularly like here is the mix of beach promenade with shops and live music and towards Arrecife you can walk for kilometers on the beach. Depending on your mood.
