This church was thoroughly renovated in 2017. Underfloor heating was installed, a new electrical system with LED lighting and a separate funeral chapel. The church was painted in fresh colours and is completely decorated.

The Sint-Jobkerk is a neo-Romanesque hall church that was built between 1873 and 1876 in brick with bluestone here and there. The church contains some fine works of art, such as an oil painting from the second half of the 17th century depicting Saint Job. The oak statues depicting Saint Anne and Saint Job and the polychrome Gothic crucifix date from the first half of the 16th century.
In the cemetery we find the grave monument of Joseph Bovy, who was governor of Limburg from 1872 to 1879.

The parish church of Bolderberg is dedicated to Saint Job. The oldest documents of Bolderberg, then called 'Barreberg', date from 1154. Before 1500, the inhabitants had to go to Hasselt to attend Sunday mass. There was already a chapel in the 16th century, which was rebuilt in 1776. In 1840 Bolderberg became an independent parish. In 1873, the foundation stone was laid for a new, neo-Romanesque church designed by architect Leon Jamine. The church was solemnly inaugurated in 1876. The organ in the church has been protected since 2004.
