The Dutch cocoa parlor, a classic of the confectionery art, has been located here in the heart of the city since 1921.
High ceilings, chandeliers and blue and white Dutch tiles in a checkerboard pattern create the ambience.
The room looks a bit like a train station hall, but the cake and cocoa are highly recommended!

In 1921, master confectioner Friedrich Bartels took over the café.
In the Dutch style, with flamed birch paneling, Flemish crowns and Delft fireplaces, you can eat cocoa and cake as well as small dishes or have breakfast here.
