The Tiefwerder meadows in the landscape protection area are the last preserved floodplain in Berlin and the only natural pike breeding area in the city. Touring cyclists can explore this unique natural landscape and enjoy the diverse flora and fauna. The well-developed paths are suitable for experienced cyclists and families alike. Circular route about 2.5 km, you can also go for a walk, you can park down at the bridge directly on the Havel where the snack bar is. Quaint hidden paths where people live with caravans and small houses but without access to fresh water and chemical toilet. Water etc. has to be transported laboriously. I also caught a carp there on the canal. You can also see water buffalo there. Interesting wetland for flora and fauna.
