    The small settlement goes back to a former grangie of the Schönau monastery. Later this was divided into 8 courtyards - which were grouped around the central village square. Even if a few more houses have been added in the meantime, the central village square in the form of a meadow is still characteristic of the hamlet.

    There is absolute peace here. The only thing that bothers me is the poor quality of the roads in the village. But the roads from any direction to get there are great.
