A wooden covered bell tower at the entrance to the church grounds. Two bells still hang here today. The largest of them dates from the 14th century and the inscription reads: "Vas Deus hoc signa, plesb salvasit, aura benigna". On the second bell you can read: "In honor of the holy Drey Faltigkeit, Otto Wilke von Bodenhausen uf Rais had this bell cast by master Geroge Billich in Kembergk, Anno 1655".

After the previous building was destroyed in the Thirty Years War, the church was rebuilt with a tower in 1648. However, the tower had become very dilapidated in the years when the inner wall of the tower collapsed in May of 1871, and it was torn down. Today there is a wooden roofed belfry at the entrance to the church. There are still two bells here, one of which dates from the 14th century.
