An Austrian hussar and a French cuirassier were killed in the "French jump". The daughter of the hussar had both buried here in 1809 and every year she decorated the graves with flowers. The woman died long ago, but the graves are always showing new flower decorations on the anniversary. Who puts him down, you do not know. The two crosses of the White Lady by Bockfliess. These stand here at the edge of the forest on the Hochleithen and are, it is said, decorated every year by a woman dressed in white. Her husband is said to lie in one of the graves, who died after the Battle of Wagram on the French fall together with a Frenchman near Bockfliess in the Hohlgraben. That Frenchman lies in the other grave. That happened 210 years ago.
