If you want to get to the Zittau Mountains easily, you can take the train from Bertsdorf station that comes from Zittau in the direction of Oybin or. Use Jonsdorf. There is also a lot to discover from the past at the station.

The Zittau narrow-gauge railway takes you to the Zittau Mountains. The trains leave from Zittau and in Bertsdorf you can decide to go to Oybin or to Jonsdorf. There are many old witnesses to discover at Bertsdorf train station.

One of the few stations along the Saxon narrow-gauge railways with a mechanical signal box. As a complete ensemble, consisting of a reception building, platforms, signal box, track system and lock shed, the station provides a glimpse into the history of rail technology and is well worth seeing
