Plaka is where the action is. Countless shops in narrow streets too small for cars (but sometimes they drive on them anyway) and tavernas every few steps and even more tourists. From here you easily can reach the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and a lot of tourist destinations like Syntagma Square, where the M3 underground to the airport stops.

Plaka, narrow streets and all kinds of shops selling jewellery, fashion and ceramics made here, there is a nice mood and a special atmosphere here. There are a few taverns and cafes here.
