This place simply has a fantastic atmosphere. It is an island of silence, beautifully situated, with great views of San Gimignano - the destination of the hike that is not too far away. It is very good to just stay a bit and enjoy the tranquility of this special place. You can also go to the church, which is kept very simple, but a special atmosphere. In the adjoining complex of monasteries lives a community of monks, consisting of sisters and brothers of various Christian traditions, who have dedicated themselves to the monastic life.
