The Istmus, the fine sandy land bridge that connects the Cape of Prasonísi with the mainland, is often flooded. The crossing should therefore only be undertaken with extreme caution because of the strong current.

Best beach on the island.
Very quiet, definitely worth the long journey.
The road is also fully paved if you first turn left at the gas station and not before what your sat nav will tell you.
