Yport - in 1861, Claude Monet created a series of paintings and designs, including the pastel "Les falaises à Yport" (The cliff of Yport). Today there are no fishermen in the picturesque fishing village of the Impressionists; but the rocks, the sea, the breeze and the sun have remained, small boats lie on the pebble beach, the only hotel is in a building of the Belle Époque end of the 19th Century furnished.
