Borch’s House was built in 1595 by the pharmacies Hermann Reiminch and his wife Margrete, who immigrated to Germany from Westphalia in the early 1580s. Until 1674 there was a pharmacy and a wine cellar in the courtyard, then until 1796 there was only a wine cellar and a burner. The house is one of the best preserved examples in Denmark in a Renaissance dwelling, including a half-timbered house in its own seams. Decorated with angel heads.

Built in 1595 as a pharmacy and residence for pharmacist Herman Reiminck, the building was owned in the 19th century by merchant and mayor I. S. Borch, who later gave the building its name.

It is one of Denmark's finest examples of Renaissance townhouses. A gabled house in the German style, it features richly carved decorations: bear's-foot trefoil, rosettes, and lilies. The beams between the projecting stories are shaped like cherubs' heads with outstretched wings.
