I was happy to pay the obolus at the entrance to the stones. The area is clean and in the refuge below the stones you can take a break in bad and of course good weather. It's worth parking at the information desk and following one of the themed trails.

Highly recommended is the climb on the forest path, so you can work between the rocks on the summit and on the other hand visit the former ramparts. Once at the top, brave people can even climb the rock. Up here is a wonderful place for a rest and panoramic view.
If you now choose the slightly wider way direction Rothaarstieg down, you can enjoy on the way again SUPER views in the area! By the way, there is also a forest trail ... ;-)
