Starting point for sledges / horse-drawn carriage rides to the Prossau alpine inn, hike to the Kötschachtal (Himmelwandhütte), Gasteiner Höhenweg and hiking trail to Bad Gastein (be sure to take nuts for the kittens, if you are lucky you will eat them out of your hand)

The hotel village Grüner Baum in Bad Gastein is a very beautiful facility, beautiful location surrounded by nature. Unfortunately it is closed (June 2019)

The former hotel village Grüner Baum (bankruptcy proceedings 2016) is still pretty to look at and is the ideal starting point for hikes in the Kötschachtal. With the bus you can easily drive from Bad Gastein and walk away at the end station.
