The border between Austria and Italy runs directly over the Staller Sattel. From the top of the pass you have a great view of the Obersee in the east and the Antholz Lake in the west.

The Stallersattel is a mountain pass that connects South Tyrol and East Tyrol. At the same time, the border between Austria and Italy runs here. On the Austrian side, the pass road is well developed and easy to drive on. On the Italian side the road is narrow and can only be driven on alternately in one lane. From up here you have a beautiful view in all directions and you can enjoy a walk around the Obersee.

The Staller saddle marks the border between Italy and Austria. The winding pass road leads up to an altitude of 2,052 meters. There is a small snack bar at the top.

The special feature is the one-way regulation with traffic lights on the Italian side. There is a driving license every hour from the 1st to the 15th minute from the Staller saddle down to Lake Anterselva and from the 30th to the 45th minute from the lake up to the pass crossing.
