The dolmens at Ristinge Nor are on the Danish island of Langeland. They originated in the Neolithic between 3500 and 2800 BC. as megalithic complexes of the Funnel Beaker Culture (TBK). Neolithic monuments are expressions of the culture and ideology of Neolithic societies. Their origin and function are regarded as indicators of social development. (Source Wikipedia)

A path leads from the beautiful Ristinge bathing beach to the highest point of the cliff - and there is one of the most spectacular Dysse chambers in Langeland. From the Dysse, Stone Age people could scout north, south and west - just like us - towards the South Funen archipelago and the Baltic Sea.
