The Catholic parish church of St. Nicholas is in Dorsbrunn (Markt Pleinfeld) on the edge of a steep slope and can be reached via a long staircase. It is a branch of St. Augustine in Stopfenheim, but has its own pastor. The Dorsbrunn church originally goes back to a Romanesque hall church that was consecrated as early as the 12th century. The current building, a choir tower church, dates from the late Middle Ages and was redesigned in 1767 in the rococo style. The building is registered under the monument number D-5-77-161-56 as a monument in the Bavarian monument list.
