“If I had to give this work a name,” said the sculptor Ingrid Hornef from Hofheim, “then Schauaufsland.” The sensitive landscape is worth looking at. “I hand my sculpture over to the time that it will continue to work on, exposed to natural changes and the process of decay.” The huge seat stands there, heavy and grounded, a balance between pausing quietly and roaring aircraft engines.
