History of the Castello di Quirra
The castle was then handed over to the House of Aragon after the Spanish and Catalan invasion in 1324. In 1363 the Catalan Berenguer Carròs i Llòria became Count of Quirra and thus the owner of the castle. And then over a century or two a series of legends began to be told.
