There are various hiking options from the Leimbachtal hiking car park (near Netphen).
The old castle complex (remains of an old rampart and refuge castle) is easily accessible from here.

Among other things, this is the starting point of the Celtic Trail, a beautiful, scenic trail with the highlight of the "Old Castle", an early historical castle complex from the Celtic period. The former large ring walls are still clearly visible and you can get a little idea of how extensive the complex was. A few display boards along the way explain the history of the Celts in Siegerland. There are also great views from the "Old Castle" and the adjacent hills, e.g. of the Obernautal dam.
