Yürüyüş
The Hungerbrunnen is a karst spring that flows only irregularly due to the porous, stony subsoil and mostly seeps away directly underground. In the Middle Ages, flowing and seeping away was considered a bad omen and it was believed that crop failures, diseases or famine could be predicted. Even if the water flows, it seeps away after a maximum of two kilometers. Nevertheless, the long dry valley is very fertile and offers a unique natural landscape. The Alb shepherds also regularly pass through here with their flocks of sheep.
