The arched bridge in Weißenstein is one of the landmarks of the district. The arch bridge was built in the years 1853-1856 based on the model of "stone fortifications of the Middle Ages" according to plans by the engineer Julius Naeher.
The red sandstone bridge, built in 1855-1856, is the Nagold crossing between Belremstrasse and Felsenstrasse. The bridge with a clear width of 35 meters was built under the direction of engineer Julius Naeher. The reason for the construction of the bridge was the expansion of the valley road from Pforzheim to Hirsau.

This bridge near the former Rabeneck Castle is a sensation. The sandstone bridge leads over the Nagold at some height. From there you have a wonderful view of the weir below and the old factory.

The path from Pforzheim to Nagoldtal ended earlier in Weißenstein. The Nagoldtalstraße was only built in 1856. In order to shorten the spectacular river loop through the "rear valley", the Umlaufberg was broken. The imposing stone arch bridge was built at the rock breakthrough. Under the arch bridge on the right side of the river you can still see a piece of the old "raft canal".
