The Witches Route is a themed hiking trail that starts and ends in Odenthal. You pass a few places where witches are said to have wreaked havoc in the past. A nice, not too long hike. The Hexenbrunnen in Odenthal can serve as the start and end point of the route.

In Odenthal, behind the town hall and the parish church of St. Pankratius, there is a fountain and a plaque commemorating the witch trials. The witch fountain was created in 1988 by the sculptor Walter Jansen.
