The Mulde is a river that flows near the town of Wurzen and is ideal for canoeists, for example, on the route from Wurzen to Eilenburg. It is part of the "United Mulde," which is formed by the Zwickau Mulde and Freiberg Mulde. Along the Mulde in Wurzen, there are also ferry and boat trips offered from the Dehnitz Ferry House.
