At the downhill approach of the Kreuzberg trail branches off to the left upwards (currently a bit overgrown and easily overlooked).
After a short ascent it goes up and then always along the edge of the forest on mostly wide, easy-to-drive path. Shortly before the ruin, turn right into the forest.
If you are not interested in the castle ruins, you can continue at the edge of the forest. Both route variants meet again after a few meters and halfway through Hainsberg / Unterbürg the path leads down to the right to the bike path.

The ruins of Ödenburg are somewhat hidden in the forest. The last part in the forest is really fun with the MTB. Afterwards, it is best to continue directly to Kreuzberg, high above Dietfurt, the specified trail lamb can be wonderfully extended there.
