The area includes one of the most beautiful and florally richest sheep pastures in the Swabian Alb. On one part of the area there are boulders from the upper Jurassic. In addition to dry areas, there are also wetted areas in the area that have a completely different flora than their surroundings. At these points springs come out of the ground. The pending rocks in the area are the clays of the middle Jurassic, which are partially water-damaging.
