On 19 June 1983, the Cippo degli Alpini d'Italia was inaugurated, created by the Alta Valle del Savio Alpini group, established in 1974: the two large triangular stone slabs recall the black feather and their hat; between them there is the flag-raising pole.

The Cippo degli Alpini was erected on 19 June 1983 by the Gruppo Alpini Alta Valle del Savio just below Poggio delle Corsicchie, on the slope of Monte Comero that slopes towards Alfero, 1200 metres above sea level. This monument consists of two large triangular stone slabs that recall the black feather and their hat, with a flagpole between them. Not far away, on a sandstone slab, the "Prayer of the Alpine" is engraved.
