An open-air stage that is second to none. One of the oldest open-air stages in Germany. It's a steep climb up to the stage... but then you're totally rewarded by this beautiful place. From the parking lot you have a magnificent view of the valley.

The open-air theater in Nettelstedt was founded in 1923 by Karl Meyer-Spelbrink, who organized a first performance on the slope of the Wiehengebirge without a fixed stage design. Today, the Hünenbrink Tower, completed in 1929, serves as a backdrop.
If you would like to round off a hike with a performance: the program is always between Pentecost and the end of August on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
