The Evang.-Luth. St. Veit Church is a fortified church and stands on a hill. It was built in the second half of the 14th century and was expanded into a fortified church from 1388. St. Veit has been Protestant since 1529. The church was badly damaged in the Thirty Years' War. Numerous renovations have been carried out in the meantime - some of them later reversed.

A church well worth seeing with a beautiful sundial, defensive walls ...

St. Veit is z. Currently scaffolded and the interiors are not accessible due to renovation work.

Beautiful little Gothic fortified church with well-preserved fortifications
and significant altar and other valuables from the first half of the 16th century. Nice view over the place.
By the way: The people of Veitsbronn made a living in the Middle Ages
by escorting and leading services for the Nuremberg
Merchant trains an extra income. In order to secure this sideline, the Nuremberg - Frankfurt/Main trade route near Veitsbronn was left in a poor condition.
