"Sparks flew for 150 years when the blast furnaces at Henrichshütte spat out the molten iron. The fire went out in 1987. Today, the history of iron and steel comes to life again at this unique original site. Get to know former workplaces on the museum paths, see how molten metal is poured into molds and climbs onto the oldest surviving blast furnace in the area. There are many activities especially for families, such as the hut safari, a circular route with the mascot "Rat" and a great playground."
