"... The blue ribbon between the Emscher Klärpark and Vondern Castle reaches a peculiar landscape behind the Ripshorstbrücke. Wide, wild meadows, interrupted by hilly forests and strange art objects until 1932 and soon a coking plant was added. It is very likely that an approximately four meter high elevation about 500 meters east of the old railway bridge still represents the remainder of a small mine dump with the comparison between the past and the present, where the extensive colliery and track systems are now drowning in the grassland.
